Default Mesmar Healer, pvp.

This is what I have been playing lately, I really love the fast casting with healing, no cast times basically, and harder to interrupt. Just drop essence bond on one of the monks, and you will get those heals out fast and alot. The only bad thing about this is getting a group and having to explain to them that you are a monk.

I also don't see the need for Fast Casting with a Monk. Very few heals are more than a second. I find that my biggest problem as a Monk is having enough energy, not the rate at which I can heal.

Thats why I lay essence bond on the local monk everytime he gets hit you gain 1 energy, I also like being mesmar because you are a 2nd target, which is great being a healer.

Ever been waiting to get that last point of energy to heal a party member who needs it badly, but he dies while you're casting that 1 second spell? I have. Fast casting is an interesting new type of monk. Well...not entirely new. Some Me/Mo are for extraordinarily fast resses, but fast healing for a pretty pure monk is interesting.

Seems cool to me.

Me/Mos make amazing res characters. With Fast Casting to a high level, they can cast restore life in 5 or less seconds. If you have Fast Casting to 16 you can cast it in 4.

There area a couple of Monk spells that I would like cast faster, namely healing seed, remove hex, heal party, pacifism, and virtually any enchantment youcan think of. The beuty of a Me/Mo is that you dont have to do nothing but heal. You can go around with restore life, healing seed, and heal party, and also carry shatter H/E, power drain, power leak, backfire, etc.

I don't like mesmer/monk for being a monk, but maybe that's because I love divine boon too much.

mes/mo is a great resser as has been stated by neo.
